Launch Party?

posted this on the old forum so posting it here now.

Was just thinking today, what about having a launch party or something for DB Source when it is released, apart from being on irc we could have a ventrilio server going so we can chat as were are playing the game ( mostly screams of joy from me lol ), if anyone has any other ideas shout away, what you guys think of this??

I think the idea of getting a vent server going on opening day is a great one... Maybe even getting a clan vent together.. My computer is decent so i could probly host... but im not sure how

Yeh, that'd be cool. I broke my mic a couple of days ago (dont know how), so I guess I'll need to fix it or buy a new one.

If anyone knows how i can host.. post it up or chat to me on IRC... i dont mind hosting cuz i have a pretty good computer.

I have a mic so ill be on, ill ask around see if i can find someone who can help us on the vent front!

i think will be great if we can use hamachi to simulate a lan! i think this kind os stuff work very well, and are better than a normal server.. taht is my opinion! (sorry if i m saying bad things )

Useing Vent is a great idea. Although, everyone. We live ALL over the place. It's the times that worry me. And i could not convert time if my life depended on it >.<.

Edit: and no i don't have a mic .

I think if we are using vent we would have to buy a server, but was chatting someone and they said we could set up a teamspeak server for free, think some of us would host and then we join, will look in further.

Lol. I think we can Hijack a WoW clan Vent server . If we get found, who gives a crappa.

Ah nvm. They changed the pass since last i was on there clan.
